Changing the Buzz, Inc. presents its first culture camp on October 11, 2008! Changing the Buzz, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise a new generation of African American women. The Kizuri Culture Camp for African American Girls is one of the organization's programs which accomplishes this by celebrating our rich hearitage - past, present and future.

Girls, ten to eleven years old, are invited to register for this free event. The schedule for this fun-packed day includes:

  • African dance and music
  • Small group activities
  • Art
  • Drama
  • Lunch and snacks
  • Special guest

Changing the Buzz, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate and empower African American girls and young women with programs that will equip them to improve their quality of life.

The 7 Pillars of the organization are: Educate, Empower, Engage, Energize, Expose, Equip and Enjoy.

Changing the Buzz, Inc. carries out its mission through three programs: the Kizuri Culture Camp for African American Girls, the Smart Girls for Life Program and the Next Generation Business Academy.
